INTERCESSIONS

Mission Partner Prayer: Hope for Justice

We pray for the work of Hope for Justice rescuing vulnerable people from modern slavery. We pray for those in leadership as they follow up possible victims, asking that authorities will be co-operative and help them track down smuggler gangs. We pray for successful convictions, that this heartless activity be ended and victims come to a life of hope and faith.

Father God, for those unwell at home or in hospital, we ask for an outpouring of healing – on body, mind and spirit:

John Keast
Jean Dufty
Alan Vincent
Angus Campbell
Michael Snudden
Brenda Perry
Colin Cuthbert
Vera Burrows
Ron Burt
Steve Thurston

We pray, Father, that your constant presence will be felt by the housebound members of our church family:

Eugenie Nathan
June Haithwaite

Protect their homes and bring them support and comfort through other people.

Lord of grief and Lord of hope and eternal life, care for those recently bereaved.  Protect and provide for their families. Please bring peace and restoration.

(Recently bereaved names are listed for a minimum of three weeks. Please continue to pray for these families in the following weeks and months)
