1. Why did the disciples try to keep the children away from Jesus? What childlike qualities was Jesus encouraging?
2. Why does the rich young ruler ask the question in verse 17? What do you think might be missing from his life?
3. Why is it hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven (vv. 23—25)? What then is the rich person’s only hope (v. 21)?
4. What is Jesus teaching us in this passage?
