SPECIAL MEETINGS FOR ALL CHURCH MEMBERS OF ST.MARY'S & SALE WEST COMMUNITY CHURCH
By Steve Rankin September 07
We live in a world that has dramatically changed in the last 25 years.
We have moved from a culture that was steeped in modernity but had a Christian moral foundation; a world where truth was still respected, and discussion was good.
Now we live in a world which has changed beyond all recognition. A post -modern society with an increasingly secularist moral basis.
We live in a world where people do not want to hear the truth you have; they want to see and touch the reality of it.
What does it mean to be a church for a time such as this?
SEPTEMBER 2007
During September, I will be addressing the subject of Vision and Mission in a short sermon series.
There will be no Small Group Meetings during September. Instead there will be a series of all church meetings held at St Mary's to look at how we can better be a missional church for our times.
Can I encourage all church members to make it to one of these meetings each week -
I believe they are strategic for the future life and ministry of the church at St Mary's and Sale West.
SERMONS & MEETINGS
Whilst the best endevours can be made to attend these important sermons and meetings
it is recognised that not everyone will manage to attend every talk.
We have therefore made available an audio track of each event - which are available to listen to here.
Just select the event and click on the button to listen to the audio.
(You will require audio software capable of playing MP3 audio files).
