We believe that God works through his people
Prayer and Healing
The ministry of Jesus in the Gospels is the example and inspiration
for our Prayer and Healing ministry. We ask The Holy Spirit to give his
church gifts to help and enable others to know the healing touch of God.
We offer prayer after services on Sundays and at other times.
Bereavement
The clergy take many funerals in the parish. There is also a
trained team of Bereavement Visitors who contact those who have lost
loved ones and have a link with our church.
There is also an annual service of remembrance.

Pastoral Care Visiting Scheme
A team of trained church members is available to offer continued contact and support to those members of our congregation who are ill, short or long term,
at home or in hospital, or housebound because of infirmity or age, and so can't get to church.
If you would like someone to visit you or if you know of someone else who might appreciate being visited -
please contact the Church Centre.

Extended Holy Communion
Following the midweek Holy Communion a team visit local residential
homes and individuals with the bread and wine.
Listening
Several members of the church are prepared to spend time with anyone
who simply wishes to talk through an issue confidentially.
Contact one of the clergy to be referred.
Monday Lunch Fellowship
Over twenty people meet for lunch each week. The Lunch provides
friendship, fellowship and food!
Marriage Course
We are running a course for couples seeking to enrich their marriage.
The course is using the materials from Holy Trinity Brompton in London.

Book of Remembrance
St Mary's has a Book Of Remembrance which is kept on the Altar table.
If you would like the name of someone who has died to be entered in the book, please speak to Steve Rankin, Jane Mann or Sue Gormley in the church office.
