MEN@St Mary's - meets once a month, on the third Friday of the month. These are either social, challenging or ... something to do with eating!  Also, approximately three times a year, we gather on a Saturday morning for a simple breakfast, a short talk and a time of prayer. Our overriding aim is support each other in our growth in the Christian faith. All men with any connection to St Mary's or Sale West Community Church are warmly invited to join any of the events.

Prayer Breakfasts

Our Prayer Breakfasts take place about 3 times a year on a Saturday morning and only last 1 hour. The format is relaxed and informal and follows this pattern - well, usually follows this pattern!

• a simple breakfast of hot rolls & croissants, tea & coffee
• a short talk
• a time of prayer
• finish promptly at 9am,
  so that we can get on with our weekend!

Recent events  have included:

• Ten Pin Bowling
• Watching "Vera Drake" and discussing the issues of abortion
• Christmas Meal
• A walk in the Derbyshire hills - oh, and a pub meal!
