Sale West Community Church is a church of around 100 people.
We are a congregation who seek to have Jesus at the centre of their lives and the community.
We are a family of friendly and welcoming Christians who long to see Jesus reign.
We meet on a Sunday morning at 10:30 and through out the week at various small groups in peoples homes.
The church also has a thriving men's ministry and a growing children's work. To find out more about what we as a church believe, please visit us on a Sunday morning or contact any of the members of staff.

Credit Union
Sale Credit Union was started by the church and community to help people on the estate and in the area manage their finances. Over 400 people are now members. Volunteers help to run the Credit Union and people come to bank and obtain loans. There are now 50 Junior members of the Credit Union as we have take the message into local schools. In conjunction with SWCC the Credit Union has also set up money management courses helping people to mange their funds and grow in confidence as they return to work.

History
Over thirty years ago, Sale West was built as people relocated from central Manchester. Local churches pooled resources to provide support for a small church meeting in the Sale Grammar Boys School cricket pavilion. Once the Community Centre was built the church started to meet in this more centre position. As SWCC started to grow, a full-time pastor was appointed from St.Mary's Church. This post later developed into an associate Minister and when SWCC decided to become an Anglican Church a few years ago, the post was one of Associate Vicar. The church has been growing over the past few years and is now approaching 100 members. Due to the growth of the church, meetings were moved from the Community Centre to the (larger) Youth Centre (next door).

Careforce
Over the past ten years we have enjoyed welcoming our Careforce workers. They are young people who give a voluntary year to work for God. SWCC has now also 'sent' one of our own youth to work for Careforce in London.
